There are 2 ways to search for contact database records:
- Using the universal search
- Using the Contacts/Companies grids
Using the universal search
The universal search is found in the top-right of the screen
Simply begin to type the name of the contact or company you are looking for and the results will be revealed.
Click the link contact/company to be taken to the relevant page.
Using the Contacts/Companies grids
Navigate to the relevant Contacts or Companies sub-navigation page in the Contacts tab.
In the top row of the relevant column (e.g. Full Name, Company Name, etc.), begin to type the same of the contact/company you are looking for.
Click the link contact/company to be taken to the relevant page.
N.B. The View that you are using will determine the results. It is recommended to start a search from the All Contacts/Companies view to ensure the contact/company you are looking for is not omitted.
Searching for Tags
From the main Contacts or Companies sub-navigation page, click the Actions button, then click Customise Columns.
From the Customise Columns pop-out, tick-select the Tags option and then click Apply Changes.
You will be returned to the grid screen, where you can use the top row of the Tags column to conduct your search.
