In order to add a Credit Note onto your Project:
Step 1: Find the invoice that you wish to credit and next to the invoice, click on the Credit button on the right hand side of the screen.
NOTE: When you click on the Credit button, a box will appear with 'Are you sure you want to credit this invoice?'
Step 2: Click Yes.
Your Credit Note template will appear.
NOTE: All of the dropdown menus on the right hand side of the screen remain changeable. You also have the option to invoice in a different currency and to include a backing sheet on your Credit Note by ticking the tick boxes.
Step 3: Click on the Re-create Invoice button and your Credit Note will be created.
NOTE: Your Credit Note will appear in a Word Document ready for you to send out.
NOTE: When you go back into the Invoicing page within your Project, a Credit Note will appear at the bottom of your list of Invoices and the Credit Note will have been given its own Number (the number assigned depends on how your CMAP is configured).
