2. Linking Projects to a Retainer

One you have added a Retainer project into CMAP, you can link projects to it to draw down from the Retainer Value.

Step 1: Go into the Projects tab, find the project you want to link to the Retainer and click it.

Step 2: When you arrive at the Project Details page, click the Edit pencil icon to open the interface where you amend the details of the project.

Step 3: Select the relevant Retainer project from the Parent Retainer dropdown, and click Save.

NOTE: If you are selecting a Retainer that relates to a different company CMAP will display the following warning message: 'The parent retainer belongs to a different company. Are you sure you wish to add this project to it?' Click Yes to continue or Cancel to select a different Parent Retainer.

NOTE: Your project will now be linked to the Parent Retainer and there will be a link to the Retainer on the Project Details page.
